My philosophy is to honor nature by working with the intrinsically beautiful forms that have been given to us. I have been exploring nature and natural materials since I was a child and my love of trees has led me to create beautiful functional art made from reclaimed wood. I find the odd pieces, the broken branches, the downed trees and turn them into quiet magics. My intense drive to create grew and thrived during my time as a landscaper and gardener, paying homage to nature in response to our modern waste-oriented culture. Each piece of wood has its own character and story and I always work to showcase that individuality in the items I make.
