My philosophy is to honor nature by working with the intrinsically beautiful forms that have been given to us. I have been exploring nature and natural materials since I was a child and my love of trees has led me to create beautiful functional art made from reclaimed wood. I find the odd pieces, the broken branches, the downed trees and turn them into quiet magics. My intense drive to create grew and thrived during my time as a landscaper and gardener, paying homage to nature in response to our modern waste-oriented culture. Each piece of wood has its own character and story and I always work to showcase that individuality in the items I make. From elegantly polished serving boards, idiosyncratic furniture and now, beautiful accessories for your plants, both the look and feel of my pieces show you the natural wood, highlighting the color, pattern and texture that makes it so beautiful.
