BASICASE was born from a legacy—and a frustration. For generations, my family has been in the medical device industry, producing everyday essentials like bandages, floss picks, and mouthwash at billion dollar scale. Yet despite decades of innovation in other consumer categories, these products have remained largely unchanged—clinical, bulky, and disconnected from modern lifestyles. As a new generation of consumers began to expect more thoughtful, design-forward products, everyday medical essentials were left behind. BASICASE exists to change that. We create daily essentials that don’t just function—they express. From portable, elevated oral care to refined bandages and kinesiology tape, our products are designed to integrate seamlessly into contemporary, design-conscious lifestyles. Backed by large-scale manufacturing expertise and a young, U.S.-based design team, we’re bringing something new to a traditionally conservative, male-dominated industry: a perspective that values both performance and aesthetics, function and feeling.
