About Wuitusu

Wuitusu is dedicated to their motto: "Beauty with a Conscience." We work with Wayuu artisan families, both is Colombia and Venezuela, to bring to the USA gorgeous handmade items that celebrate tradition. We also have designed pieces that combine Wayuu art and utilitarian needs. The Wayuu society is a matriarchal one, so our main partners are women who decide what will be created and how their earnings will be spent. We also work with The Wayuu Taya Foundation, a non-profit organization that was founded 20 years ago, so every purchase helps feed Wayuu children through them. As a business, we take pride in our customer service, both in our retail brick-and-mortar store located in Hollywood, California, and our wholesale services.
