Wild Ice’s founder, Mila, grew up under communism, where everyone had all the same things. If you wanted a specialty item, you made it yourself. So Mila’s family made their own skincare out of garden fruits and vegetables, based on generations-old folk recipes. As a result, Mila grew up with an appreciation for skincare that contains natural ingredients, is highly effective, is a good value. When Mila immigrated to New York, she searched for skincare that met all three of these requirements, but she came up emptyhanded. So she began to create and test her own skincare formulations. That effort evolved into the skincare line you see today. Wild Ice Botanicals has its own production studio where we craft our products from scratch using the freshest, cold-preserved ingredients. CURIOUS ABOUT WHY WE COLD-PRESERVE OUR SKINCARE? Back in 2018, when we were still a fledgling business, we started refrigerating our ingredients on a whim. We reasoned that if we refrigerate the healthy foods we eat, we should do the same for the healthy ingredients in our skincare. And the science on cold preservation backed that up.
