4,000+ trees planted with the National Forest Foundation so far! 🌲😊 Owner JP Simpson started Himalayan Exchange in 2017. It began as a table and tent setup at various markets and festivals across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He did this on weekends, while still working full-time during the week at another job. The focus was incense, tapestries, and other items primarily from Tibet and the Himalayan region of the world--hence the name Himalayan Exchange. In 2018, JP quit his job and focused full-time on H.E. He opened a mall kiosk, and introduced crystals around this time. The local crowd responded wonderfully to the addition. JP visited the Tucson Gem Show for the first time, and began to form relationships with family-owned mines and crystal wholesalers from all over the world to bring in even more beautiful products. After he outgrew the kiosk, Himalayan Exchange opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Gulfport MS, a small 400-sq ft. space. The store blossomed with success, and JP's wife, Sam, was able to quit her full time job and join the team as co-owner. After only a year, the store became too small for the ever-growing inventory and amount of customers, and it was time to upgrade again to a larger space. With a much larger retail location, JP & Sam continued to grow their shop and success soared. At this point, crystals composed 95% of the inventory, and JP & decided to re-brand - Pebble House was born! :)Read their story
