Christine Pototschnik, co-Founder of BRWD Refreshing Energy® Drinks, is a four-time marathoner, and recreational athlete. Christine followed long training runs with a refreshing, thirst quenching, and rejuvenating ice cold beer. Studies have shown barley has natural, post-workout recovery properties for athletes. The drawbacks, impairment and for some, taste. Christine began seeking a non-alcoholic beverage, that combined barley and natural caffeine for post-workout recovery and lift. Not finding anything in the market, Christine began created recipes that didn’t taste like beer but included the brewed barley goodness in her home kitchen. BRWD Refreshing Energy® Drinks were born.
