Who is 2Chance Upcycling-Design? Who am I... Hello, I am Thomas, 46 years old, have two children, and am married. In 1989, I came from Poland to Germany and followed the usual path: School Training as a car mechanic For years, I worked in the profession until my intervertebral discs failed. From then on, I knew things had to change; my professional future was affected. So, I decided to help children and young people get back on the right track. I also started working as an educational staff member in a group home for children and young people. I must also mention that I entered this field as a career changer. How it all began... I could write a novel here, but I'll keep it short. The idea of "upcycling" came from an anniversary gift for my wife. I had a lot of records that were no longer usable, and it was too much of a waste to throw them in the trash. So, I made a beautiful wall clock with a design. I succeeded in that. In the field of child and youth welfare, where I was working, I reached a point where I realized that the work was nice, but mentally, it was no longer feasible.
