The Piwi Collective aims to massively advance the agricultural transformation in viticulture. We support producers in restructuring their vineyards to fungus-resistant grape varieties (Piwi), save up to 80% on plant protection, and act as an umbrella for organic certification. This allows even small-scale operations (84% of wine-growing businesses cultivate only 1/2 to 1 hectare) to engage in organic viticulture, providing them with a sustainable future perspective. We are FairChoice certified and pay a fair wage per kilo of grapes. In our cellar in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl, we then produce really great Crémant and Secco from the Piwi grapes.
