Each piece is brand new - like a new pair of shoes to break in - beadwork is woven tight, it relaxes the more you wear it. Every bead is made by hand in extremely small batches, this really makes each piece truly one of a kind. Due to the organic shape of each bead it can cause each piece to fit slightly different. Try on each bracelet to get an idea of sizing. Each piece may not be embellished exactly the same due to individual bead size. Different tribes have separate polishing techniques so the finish of each bead can vary. Over time your beads may get a natural polish sheen due to the oils in your skin. You can also, speed this process up massaging your beads with a light oil or lotion on your beads. Your leather will get more supple over time, the straps form to your neck and and like the beads, your natural skin oils will preserve the leather and age beautifully unique. Just like you! The process by which makes the beads involves heating the glass to such a high temperature it tempers the glass making it incredibly strong and hard to break. Although not impossible, I always stand behind my craftsmanship and will preform any necessary repairs should an accident occur.
