Everest is a husband-wife duo, family-owned business where my father handles all of the production side of things & we handle all of the designing & sampling. Even though we class ourselves as "designers", our ethos now and will always be to help the Himalayan artisans who help make our products. We don't want to just label ourselves as "fair-trade" but actually care for the makers. We started our journey selling yak chews for dogs but now have expanded further into home goods & gifting with mostly felted collections. Our pet knitwear is handmade (using hand looms) using 100% Mongolian Wool (helps with breathability) and chemical-free Swiss dyes. Alongside our knitwear, we sell our own "Lokta Paper" creations. Lokta paper is a sustainable, 100% natural alternative to machine-made papers and is handmade in Nepal.
