About Givova

Givova was officially founded on 22 May 2008 on the initiative of the entrepreneur Giovanni Acanfora, who co-founded Legea in the nineties. Since its launch, it has become the technical sponsor of some clubs and, among its first supplies, were that of Chievo Verona in Serie A and of Salernitana in Serie B in the 2008-09 season. Another significant partnership between the Campania brand and a soccer club is the one with Catania, started in 2010 when the Rossoazzurri played in the top flight, interrupted in 2015 and resumed two years later, in 2017. In 2018, the Campania company supplied sportswear to the contestants of the reality television show Big Brother, broadcast on Canale 5, but the partnership was later interrupted due to the negative conduct taken by some competitors. However, it returns as a technical supplier for other Mediaset programs. In 2019, Givova was the sole technical sponsor of the XXX Universiade held in Naples. In 2020, Givova and the Italian national singers donate 30,000 masks, made by the Campania company, to the Cardarelli hospitals in Naples and Poma in Mantua, which are particularly committed to the fight against COVID-19. Starting from the 2023-2024 sports season, Givova is a sponsor of the Italian Referees Association. Other sponsored companies include Paganese, Reggina, Pordenone, the Venezuelan national team, Cordoba and other basketball, volleyball and rugby clubs.Read their story
