About Carina Paper Co.
Carina Paper Co. is a thoughtful boutique stationery company specializing in the design of letterpress greeting cards, gift items and other paper goods based in Akron, Ohio. Carina means "pretty" or "nice" in Italian and seemed like the perfect fit for our owner, Emily, given her love for her Italian heritage. What started out as a side hustle slowly turned into a full time career after the birth of Emily's first little boy. Emily has a background in consulting (actually in accounting…who knew accountants could be creative?!) and a love for all things paper. We pride ourselves on strong communication skills, attention to detail, thoughtfulness and humor as our tag line is 'thoughtful with a dose of honesty.' Emily's work is a reflection of her heart as a new mom, wife, daughter and friend. Emily is a firm believer that cards spread goodness in the world and are, quite possibly, the easiest way to let someone know how loved they are.
