About Little Fae

Hello there, we are Jess and Sophie, the founders of Little Fae; a small family run business. We are sister in laws and mothers to 3 beautiful little girls. The idea of Little Fae began when we both were struggling to find a stylish, multifunctional, safe play mat that we didn't have to compromise on. There was a very limited amount of choice available on the market and everything we found was either bright primary colours that did not compliment our homes or made from harsh, toxic chemicals. We eventually found one that pretty much ticked all of the boxes but within a few months it began to fall apart. It was really frustrating, so Jess, decided to create our own luxurious playmats. After months and months of research, we found a manufacturer that has the same ethics we stood for; safety, quality, eco friendly and attention to detail. We wanted to ensure that our customers would not have to compromise, this is why we have reversible designs. We enjoy yoga and our play mats are perfect for this (multifunctional). Having a baby product that is safe and non toxic is crucial, this is why our play mats have been independently tested and why we handpicked non toxic materials. We have earned the privilege of a CE and UKCA mark on our play mat, which are very high European and British toy standards. The name Little Fae represents our children; Florence, Ava and Emilia. They are the most important little humans in our lives and our inspiration to get us to where we are today.Read their story
