About Always Looking

Always looking to see, what things are and what they can be. A photography picture book series designed to open young eyes to a different way of seeing everyday things. In short : a not-so-precious first photography book, in long: always looking will engage and inspire your own awareness of the present moment. Emphasis on visual imagery fosters discussion and imagination to create the narrative as both parents and children alike are taken on the journey of exploring colors, shapes, and patterns.  How can you read a picture book without a formal story? Let the visuals guide you, interact and talk about what you see. Start with the elements of color, shape and pattern and let it transition to the new words being learned (for the very young) or an experience recently shared (for the not so young). Have it be a conversation starter for an older one who is just learning about the art of seeing and being introduced to the concepts of design, photography, art and composition.
