ounder, Natasha Wittke is an award winning Associate Creative Director with 15+ in advertising and an artist entrepreneur of globally recognized Canadian brand Norquay Co. Natasha launched Norquay as a passion project inspired by a 600km canoe trip she embarked on along the Missinaibi River. Launching this business allowed her to reconnect with the artistic side of her creativity. It was a chance to paint, create freely and channel her ideas into something tactile, away from client feedback. It was an idea to innovate on an iconic Canadian object that was rich in history and heritage. "I spent so much time with a paddle in my hand I suppose it was inevitable I would make it my canvas one day.” Her collection of Artisan Painted Canoe Paddles has received international acclaim. The duchess of York herself discovered them while living in Toronto and summering in Muskoka. A true nod to our Canadian heritage, these collectible pieces of functional art have made their way into homes, stores, and hoteliers across the world. Natasha aims to create products that beautify indoor environments through the exploration of dynamic color palettes, symmetry and negative space; the hallmarks of her design aesthetic. Norquay Co.
