Rich’s search for the ideal snack began during his 20 year career as a firefighter in California. Long shifts hauling heavy equipment uphill left him beat. He needed a good source of energy. But getting healthy food on the fire line was a challenge. One day he discovered the power of sprouted nuts. He started sprouting cashews, dehydrated them for crunch, added herbs from his garden, and shared this creation with his crew.
