Mangrose is a young French brand that creates collections inspired by the beauty of biodiversity. Each creation carries a strong message and invites us to reflect. We support animal, environmental, and societal causes. Curiously and paradoxically, Mangrose was born from a form of rejection of fashion, from the refusal to produce far away, always cheaper and faster, by exploiting low-wage labor at catastrophic ecological costs for our planet and ourselves: humans. The incessant renewal of collections and the explosion of "ultra fast fashion" has led fashion to a kind of uncontrollable overconsumption that is increasingly destructive to our environment and climate. This observation pushed us to want to write our own chapter. To do our part and offer a reasoned, eco-responsible brand, working for animals, nature, and humans. The goal is to use the medium of fashion to communicate creatively and raise public awareness of these causes, through the prism of art, drawing, and illustration. To evoke subjects that sometimes overwhelm us, even preventing us from knowing where to start to make a change. And then one day we realized that among the 8.5 billion individuals we are on earth, each of us represents a fraction of this population: one billionth: it's you, it's me.
