About Dr. Deven Creates

As a former educator, Dr. Deven Tellis has a unique perspective on children's creativity and the importance of nourishing growing minds. In her many roles as a mother, wife, and businesswoman, she has navigated her passions in life and wants nothing more than to cultivate a psychologically safe space for children to engage in what they love and fuel their expanding interests. With a great message for the whole family to learn and enjoy, her books and product line feature BIPOC (Black, Indigenous People of Color) characters, as well as create an invitation for incredible dialogue amongst communities, their children and their parents. *Fun Fact: The two main characters in Dr. Deven's 'Bright Future' book series, were created in the likeness of her own son and daughter.
