About Valkyrie New York

The Valkyrie were war angels of Norse mythology who rode winged horses above the battlefield - clad in gleaming armor, fiery red hair flowing behind them. Though they were suited up for battle, they weren’t fighters - they were protectors who carried the souls of the dead away to rest. Protection is a major theme of my work as an artist and designer, and something about The Valkyrie's soft, intense, melancholy disposition always resonated with me.
