About Lori Canon Art

Lori Canon Art is a colorful expression of the sweet things in life. Breaking down the world around us and reconstructing them in layers of shapes and colors. Lori began as an acrylic pet portrait artist in 2011 and has since moved into gouache, but never gave up the practice of painting. Throughout a long career in graphic design, she managed to continuously foster a creative spirit through art. In 2020, when everyone was rethinking what they really wanted to do with their life, Lori realized she wanted to see her art on gallery walls and in local shops. The gallery goal was achieved Nov. 2022-January 2023 at Pullen Arts Center in Raleigh, NC and again in May 2024 at WakeMed North in partnership with the local art guild. In January 2024, she applied to become a vendor at Deco Raleigh, a local gift shop, and was delighted to be accepted. You could say that sparked an interest in a path to wholesale on a larger scale. It's inspiring to see others enjoy and connect with art on a level that compels them to make a purchase, and to be a small part of that is incredible.Read their story
