About Ferne Creative

Ferne Creative is a Chepstow-based business with illustrator Ferne at the heart. She creates nature-inspired illustrations to grow awareness and appreciation of British species that are never represented in art forms or products. The eco-friendly brand uses recyclable packaging, striding to be as plastic-free as possible and is always looking for ways to improve products and practices. Ferne has a degree in Natural History Photography, Master's in Authorial illustration She worked as a designer in print for 6 years before teaching herself digital illustration and going self-employed with her business. With a passion for design, she combines this with her natural illustration style to bring a bright, fun and realistic approach to her work to turn everyone into a nature lover and provide products for existing ones. Illustrations are made digitally using Procreate and an apple pencil, they are then printed on FSC paper at a UK-based printer to create postcard packs, greeting cards and art prints.
