About Casa de Stela

Casa de Stela is a lifestyle and fashion brand. We're now making our ceramics collection available on faire. Our ceramics are all hand-thrown in our Oregon studio by mother & daughter, Pam & Jess Bercovici. Casa de Stela founder, Jess Bercovici was born & raised in Los Angeles, California, and first spent time in Guatemala in 2007 as an archaeologist. This ignited an 15-year long passion for textiles and handicrafts. Guatemala was home to the brand for over 10 years. Our current HQ is now in Bend, Oregon. Her focus is to fuse traditional textile design with the desires of the contemporary fashion market. She partners exclusively with highly skilled artisans throughout Guatemala, India and Morocco to produce these vibrant designs. Inspired by plant-dyes, traditional motifs, and natural fibers, she breathes this life into apparel, accessories, and home-goods. The main objective of each season is to create an economically and environmentally sustainable collection. Since establishing Stela 9, in 2010. The brand has been carried by Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Moda Operandi, Shopbop, Revolve, Henri Bendel, Matsuya and more.
