About Plain Jane Soap Bars

Small batch, hand rendered Tallow, Lard and Buttermilk based soaps. All of our ingredients comes from our neighboring farms in Fayette County, Texas. We hand render our Tallow and Lard. Our buttermilk is made from fresh RAW Jersey milk. This soap is luxurious, natural and sustainable. The base recipe is backed by County Fair Blue Ribbons since 1966 when my grandma won her first Lard rendering ribbon in Southern Ohio. She learned her craft growing up in the hills of Kentucky aka "Appalachia" I've rarely bought a bar of commercial soap my entire life. If I did, it was mostly out of curiosity..they don't compare. Natural soap made with sustainable fats that closely match our own skin are thought to be a miracle to first time users. People who have suffered with irritations of all sorts find immediate relief.
