We're Humphrey and Joanna, a husband-and-wife team of vets with a particular interest in joint problems. Having seen at first hand the sadness and disappointment that comes when joint problems degrade a much-loved dog’s life, we began to investigate whether there were other solutions - and were surprised to find that an important ingredient seemed to have been overlooked and was therefore very underestimated. That ingredient was hyaluronic acid. These days most people have heard the name hyaluronic acid. It appears as an ingredient in shampoo and cosmetics for example and it can be found in some human joint support supplements too. Having established its usefulness in human joint dysfunction, just like the two other main ingredients that preceded it - chondroitin and glucosamine – and based on the clinical literature, we were convinced that hyaluronic acid had an important role to play and could well be the natural successor to these ingredients.
