About Cheers Ink

Danielle was unexpectedly laid off at the beginning of 2012 and she used the opportunity to follow her creative dreams. Cheers Ink started at her kitchen table while looking for a new job. She created the first set of coasters by combining slate with wine corks, an idea which launched her hobby into the business she'd always dreamed about. She began using ink to design personalized coasters and table numbers. From there, the product line kept growing to now include cheese boards, glassware, ornaments and more.  She welcomed her husband, Austin, to the team and used his strong background in manufacturing to help streamline her processes to create a successful natural stone wholesale line. Everything is made in-house by the team of two in their shop in Des Moines, Iowa.Read their story
