About Hemming Birds

Hemming Birds is a maker company and brand focused on creating modern, thoughtfully-designed, well-made parenting essentials. Founded in 2014 by Yana Wieckowski, a lifelong crafter and lover of all things DIY, the first Hemming Birds collection was launched after a successfully-funded Kickstarter Campaign in June of 2014. All of our products are designed and handcrafted in Charleston, SC in small batches from only the highest quality, responsibly-sourced materials. Our core products are two styles of bibs, the “Charlie” Snap Bib (a modern take on a classic bib design, perfect for feeding and drool) and the luxuriously soft “Ollie” Bandana Bib (made from soft, absorbent cotton double-gauze or flannel), as well as the multifunctional “Essential” Burp Cloth.
