Meet Emily Small, illustrator based in Portland, OR who sells her fun hand drawn goods under the moniker Beetle Ink Co. Her work focuses on themes of color-play, silliness, and serendipitous moments, shown through her unpretentious yet bold line-work. Her minimalist designs embody a playful spirit, destined for a cheerful home! Beetle Ink Co. products are 100% hand drawn by Emily. Whenever she is unable to produce her goods by hand, it’s important that Emily works with local small businesses to make her products come to life! Her papergoods are risograph printed or digitally printed in Portland, OR. Textile goods are screen printed in Portland, OR. Rubber stamps and engraved goods are produced in Eastern Oregon. Enamel pins are made by Emily’s production partner located in California. Tufted pieces are entirely done by hand in Emily's studio.Read their story
