Originating in 2019, A Predominantly Black Candle Haus is a handmade home and body fragrance house located in Los Angeles, California. Owner + Creator + Mother Maker Mya Sinquefield is a self-taught maker. She expands her knowledge with continuous research, reading, and experimentations. Currently enrolled in the Herbal Academy, she is studying perfumery, emulsifiers, and preservatives in skincare, and herbal formulations. A Predominantly Black Candle Haus uses a locally crafted 100% Soy/Coconut Wax blend for all candles. Natural wax makes for a natural atmosphere and provides up to 50% longer (up to 100 hours depending on size) and 100% cleaner candle burn. All fragrances used are INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) certified, Phthalate Free, and require no Prop 65 warning. Also, all candle wax and fragrance products are LEAPING BUNNY compliant. At PB we try our best to focus on the soothing, healing, and guilt-free elements that natural body care and candles can provide while keeping in mind longevity and shelf life expectancy.
