Our family business was start in 1961, in Nashville Tennessee. For 50 of those years we were only available to chefs and food producers throughout the southeastern USA. In 2013 we launched our gourmet retail seasoning line-J.M. Thomason, bringing many of our classic blends for the home chef. Made with no chemicals or preservatives and honest ingredient statements, as we don't cut corners. We currently give 50% of the profit of our sales for J.M. Thomason seasonings to Heifer International, to help elevate small-hold farmers income in the Guatemalan highlands. By teaching them how to grow different spices and helping them with nurseries, and market development Heifer International is helping top not only create a sustainable system but one that is centered around providing the farmers with a better livelihood.
