About Cocomos

As a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, I've always had a keen interest in anything and everything food, be it sweet or savory. My interest in food extends to a curiosity and awareness of living an all-round healthy way of life. Throughout the years, this journey has had a great impact on the choices I make when it comes to food. As a reflection of my Jamaican roots, I wanted to create a product that uses ingredients that are simple and represent the wonderful flavors of the Caribbean. The idyllic countryside of Black River, St. Elizabeth, known as the "bread basket of Jamaica" was my father's home as a child. I spent many summers on our family farm where my grandmother introduced me to cooking with only the freshest ingredients grown in her backyard. Using the simplest but tastiest ingredients, she taught me that eating healthy didn't mean having to sacrifice flavor. This is the foundation in the creation of COCOMOS.
