About The Gift of Lakshmi

My home of Asheville, NC is a place where many artists and spiritual seekers are drawn to. Therefore, my journey of creating my organic botanical perfume business was already set in an ideal environment. I had been a longtime lover of natural beauty products, although, my interest in botanical perfume was sparked in 2009 by a travelling musician I met from Hawaii. She was selling them out of her suitcase and let me smell each one! I was immediately transported to heaven and knew that this was something special. My dream became a reality when I decided to create my own in 2016. I had recently finished my Master's program, and felt it was time to start something new. For 4 years I sold outside The Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville as a street vendor. Interacting with hundreds of people a day helped me to hone my essential oil blends and flower compositions into the refined versions I offer today. Now I get to share my passion of botanical perfume with you via online and my wholesale outlets. I hope to help uplift and inspire your Spirit with aromatherapy and visual art. The business name I chose is to honor the Maha Devi (Great Goddess), Lakshmi. She is pure, loving energy, and reminds us that abundance is both spiritual and worldly. Read their story
