About Museum Mile Art

Dara Levine-Hillis is a ceramicist and photographer based in New York City. In 2019, drawing from 30+ years in consumer product; design, product development, brand management and product management, Museum Mile Art was created. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Dara navigated her career through multiple industries: fashion, wine, finance & consumer travel products. Marrying her corporate experience with her artistic talent, Dara ventured off on her own to create and be more creative! Handmade on either the wheel or table ceramics, each piece is designed and created from life's experience. "Wheel to Table Designs" are made to mix & match with each piece having their own personality. The finished product is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Made in varying colors of stoneware clay, each piece is fired in an electric kiln and finished with lead-free glazes. No two pieces are intended to be exactly the same and each order will be "one of a kind". Dara resides in New York City with her husband and West Highland Terrier. Read their story
