Simple, elegant, eco-friendly. Bluce specializes in industrial-chic, reclaimed guitar string jewelry. All strings are previously played and sourced from local repair shops, family and friends. Each guitar string is cut to length, hand cleaned, worked into a usable segment, and carefully assembled. This jewelry features geometry inspired by my educational background in architecture. Proportions and movement inspired by my childhood as a ballet dancer. And the guitar strings, inspired by my parents who are lifelong musicians. I combine the guitar strings with high-quality sterling silver and/or 14K gold-filled chain, semi-precious gemstones, and mixed metal accents. My aim is to create jewelry that obscures the recycled material. Transforming it into something that is new again.Read their story
