About Mandy Lorain Art

Mandy Lorain Art was started just before my son was born then grew as he did! I describe my art as “A little hippie and a little alt” with a strong tattoo style and full color. I have always been intrigued by insects and all things that have wings, scales and tails and are a little strange and misunderstood. I often paint these animals in all of their unique glory and a floral frame for a bit of flare. I hope that each bookmark, sticker and bookish fan art can bring a smile to your face! About the artist: Between the amount of time I spent outdoors in the south while growing up and spending the summers in Alaska, it's fair to say that I've grown up a little wild and have a HUGE appreciation for the outdoors and all creatures big and small. Whether it is photographing, gardening, collecting bugs (while a kid and adult, haha) or simply exploring, I love to focus on the details and then showcase them in any art that I later create. I have no interest in fame and fortune, I only want to get a little pocket change so that I can head over to my local plant nursery to expand my pollinator garden, keep up my donations to the Xerces Society and Bat World Conservation and be the best Baseball Mom I can be! Perhaps one day I will be able to move onto some property and step up my efforts in pollinator conservation, but until then, any purchases are greatly appreciated to help expand my little strip of milkweed, marigold and floral hodge podge!Read their story
