About Earth's Pearl

Hi there! I’m Chris, co-founder of Earth’s Pearl, a small, family-run business based in Southern Oregon. My story starts when Ana, my amazing wife, and I wanted to start a family. But after 1.5 years of trying, luck wasn’t on our side. As our worries grew, we pay our doctor a visit. It was then when I found out that at age 27, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Shocked and scared I did not know what to do but Ana did what every good Spouse would do in our day, she turned to the internet and read endlessly. In the meantime, I was put on a medication that would stop Prolactin, a hormone likely causing the tumour to grow. If this worked, having a child within one to two years was still possible. We didn’t want to solely rely on the medication, however. Through her research, Ana learned that a vegan, clean, and organic diet (basically a 180 from my diet to that point in my life) could prove beneficial. Long story short, after cleaning up my diet, my prolactin levels went from 3,000 (keep in mind, a normal level for men is 3-16) to 115 in just 4 weeks. This pattern continued and four months after I had been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, my wife got pregnant. Recognising the absolute necessity of balance between modern medicine and a healthy diet, my wife and I began a new quest, to create the world’s best supplements, and since 70% of our overall health comes from our GI Tract, it should be no surprise that the first product we launched was a Probiotic.
