It all began in 1828, Pierre Rampal became a master soap maker at the Court-de-Payen soap factory in Marseille. He passed on to his son and grandson all his know-how and his love for the soap making profession. In 1885, the Rampal family settled in Salon de Provence during the Golden Age. The know-how was then passed on to Jean-Louis Plot in 2004 and the company innovated by drawing on tradition. Unique know-how as a soap maker respecting the tradition of cooking in a cauldron at low temperature. Our real Marseille soap is extra pure, without any additives, no perfume and no coloring made from only 4 ingredients: vegetable oils, water, salt and soda. Our reason for being: The art of preserving health through hygiene and daily care for the whole family. In addition to being the manufacturer of genuine Marseille Soap, we still produce hand products (liquid soaps, hand creams, perfumed soaps) and body products (shower gels, shower shampoos, solid shampoos) labeled Cosmos Natural and Organic, in our factory in Salon-de-Provence. Eco-designed products that protect the skin and the environment.
