About Zelaki Leather Company

We are Demeke and Aubrey Dessie, owners and lead creatives at Zelaki Leather Company! I (Aubrey) grew up in the midwest, Demeke grew up in Ethiopia. We began our business in 2020, making all products in-shop with hopes of one day linking back to Demeke's Ethiopian roots. In 2022, we were able to do so by partnering with a small business in Ethiopia's capital city, Addis Ababa. Demeke and I remain the primary designers, working closely with our team to create high-quality leather goods for all to enjoy. We specialize in clean, minimalistic designs created for practicality and longevity.
