About The Woman Cards

In April 2016, Donald Trump accused Hillary Clinton of playing "the woman card," and Hillary responded by saying if fighting for women's health care, equal pay, and women's rights was "playing the woman card" then "Deal me in!" We (Zebby and Zach Wahls) took this response to heart and co-created a deck of playing cards called "The Woman Cards" featuring 15 original, hand-drawn illustrations of American women who changed the world even though the deck was stacked against them. We launched a Kickstarter, hoping to raise $5,000 to create about 500 decks. We wound up raising over $150,000 on Kickstarter and have now printed thousands of decks with several different editions that have sold all over the world. Read their story
