About Fortunaza Farms

Fortunaza Farms is family owned and operated, based in New York and California by two Persian women (cousins!) who wanted to start something together that had three defining principles: -Creating delicious, healthy products with simple ingredients. Dried fruits are a big part of Persian food culture, and we make dried fruits with no sugar added -Operating with values that support the local farmers and producers we work with -Low impact/high impact: We're serious about low impact packaging and high impact work in our communities and farming practices that prioritize longevity and sustainability of farming operations. Our first products are sourced from the Dominican Republic, and reflect our family's blended heritage and Dominican background as well. We are excited to honor Persian and Dominican cultures in the products we make and stories we share. As we grow, this will expand to reflect the cultures of our production partners, customers and communities. Started in 2025 and here for the long run. Read their story
