About Bocado Functional Foods

In 2015, we launched our first bread called The Original Protein Bread on the market and started our journey into the world of Spanish bakery. Very soon we detected that the customer was asking us, more and more products that are low in carbohydrates, proteins and even without sugar and decided to create our first line of functional and gourmet foods called Bocado Functional Foods. Keto diets became popular. Winds of change were blowing in the market and we took note of trends. 80% of consumers admitted the importance of recognizing ingredients on product labels. In one survey, more than 2,000 consumers related lower sugar content to healthier foods, fewer fats and calories to products that help with weight loss. They also showed a greater preference for those foods that contained protein, fiber and Omega 3 as the main nutrients. WE DECIDED TO RESPOND WITH INNOVATION.
