About Spugne d’Autore

My name is Martina and I hold a degree in fashion design. After years of creative study, I found in candles the perfect medium to express my creativity to the fullest, combining light, scent and form. The name Spugne d’Autore was born long before the candles. It all started with small handmade projects using towels: decorative creations, born from a love of making and without a clear intended purpose. Each piece was different from the next, unique, and carried with it the mark of the gesture and of time. From there came the idea of transforming simple materials into objects capable of telling a personal and authentic story. Over time, this same artisanal approach naturally led me to the world of candles, which became the most complete form of my creative expression.Read their story
