The story of L'Atelier de la Belle Étoile begins in 2014, when Romain, a comic book artist, imagines and creates a unique wooden toy for his daughter. His goal? To create a durable, beautiful, and meaningful object. With Mathilde, his partner, he then decides to turn this passion into a true artisanal project. Together, they establish a workshop where each creation is crafted with care, respecting traditions and materials. The result? Wooden toys made in France in an artisanal way in our Savoyard workshop. Unique designs with round and soft lines, slightly retro but also decidedly modern and futuristic. Zero waste production and in small series (our toys are even numbered!) Healthy and safe materials for children, of French or European origin, meeting the most demanding health standards.
