Three By One® is a lifestyle brand built around the principles of ethical production and transparent supply chains. In 2015, while travelling for my job as a denim designer I came across a family with a proud heritage of being one of the pioneer coconut oil manufacturers in Sri Lanka. During the 1983 terrorist riots their ancestral property & coconut oil mill was burned to the ground and the family business was finished. One of the great grandsons of the family noticed the emerging trend for coconut oil, and decided it was time to try to reinstate the family business. Before I knew it I was on board and had jars of coconut oil on a boat, on the way to Belgium! I started with one product, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, and this remained the only product until late 2018 when I started to work on zero waste production and launched several new products. I am always working on developing new products created from waste in the supply chain. Three By One® is proudly PETA approved as a "no monkey" coconut brand. We guarantee no monkeys are used in the supply chain. We want our product ranges to be good for our customers, good for the planet, and good for the people who produce them.Read their story
