Flicker Bug is a one-woman show by myself, the artist, Karin Lickers. All products are currently made by me in my home studio in Toronto Canada. I absolutely love colour, and have over 2 decades of experience working with glass and ceramic, making it my full-time job for over 14 years now. It's a true labour of love to create these, and I've been refining my style since I began. Flicker Bug itself didn't become it's own entity until Covid struck in 2020 as I previously made and sold under my former business Glaze Craze (a diy art studio in Toronto Canada) that was forced closed. I have nothing but gratitude for this change as Flicker Bug has given me the freedom I never would have had with my storefront. :) My work is truly one of a kind with each piece going through a kiln approx 3-5 times to achieve the finished result and no 2 pieces will ever be identical. I Please note that all orders may arrive in recycled shipping boxes and packaging to aid in helping the environment when I can.
