Hi! I'm Kayla Weber Nord and I started my business, Kayla Weber Art, in 2015 while I was an elementary art teacher. My business grew very quickly, and I ended up quitting after 6 years of teaching to pursue my career as a full-time artist! I have been full-time since 2018 and I just recently built a large studio in Nicholasville, Ky for me to paint in, host workshops, and have a small retail space to sell my prints, originals, and products! My art is centered around my love of travel, landscapes, equine + horses, and beautiful interiors. I find so much joy in bright color palettes, thick acrylic textures, and showing movement within my paintings through energetic brushstrokes and colorful abstraction. I am dedicated to creating beautiful, timeless art that adds color to any home or space. On the weekends you can find me with oil pastels, and colorful abstraction. On the weekends you can find me out and about in Lexington with my husband John, our sons, Max and Oliver, and our golden retriever, Bulleit!
