Pixels & Purls celebrates crafting with embroidery kits designed for the modern maker, by a modern maker. Each kit includes everything you need, is designed thoughtfully and contains no plastic packaging. Sara, the designer and maker behind the brand, makes and teaches all things embroidery from her studio in Norwich - from embroidery kits and patterns to needle minders and more. The business is driven by a real passion for crafting, and a desire to bring bright, bold and modern embroidery kits into the market. Founder Sara loves all needlecrafts but really loves the freedom and endless options in embroidery, and passing this passion on to others by leading workshops and designing kits to complete at home brings her enormous joy. All Pixels & Purls designs start life as sketches and get worked on with much consideration over time. Sara takes great pride in her colour palettes and fabric choices and will try endless combinations until the textiles and design look just right. She has a real passion for creating the type of patterns she struggled to find when she herself started embroidering - alternative, contemporary takes on florals and pop culture inspired pieces.
