About Show Skinz

Show Skinz started because I love to match my show clothes with my saddle pad. I was preparing for a horse show and had a very sensitive horse that wouldn't appreciate me changing his saddle pad the day of the show to a different one than the one we had been training in. So.... I looked all over the internet for something to "cover" my saddle pad. I only found ones that slipped, were cheap looking, and came in limited colors. That was Show Skinz was born. I had a few sewn by a friend of mine and rode in them for an entire summer to get the design 'just right'. I contacted a patent and trademark attorney and released them online at www.showskinz.com I still ride and show in them! They are so easy to change, I don't need to haul lots of saddle pads in my horse trailer that just take up space, and Show Skinz are machine washable too! Read their story
