VL Swimwear was named after the founder Valentina Lang who started the brand VL Beachwear in Brazil back in 2018. The brand started from her need to find affordable bikinis with high quality, comfort and real sizes. VL Beachwear has grown a lot with the time. In 2020 Valentina launched VL Swimwear in the United States with her business partner Karen Chaiane Dalapossa. They both are born and raised in the South of Brazil, Karen lives in Chicago where VL Swimwear is based.
