SHOP TABY WAS BORN OUT OF A DESIRE TO BELONG In January of 2019 Taby opened Shop Taby, an online woman's clothing store, after noticing a few problems with the fashion industry: Most traditional Brands only carry sizes Small-Large and Taby found herself not always being able to fit into their largest size while also being too small to shop at a traditional Plus Size store (1X-3X). Being a 5’1” Curvy Latina, Taby felt underrepresented in the fashion industry. She was tired of seeing the exact same standards of beauty being displayed brand after brand. Taby wanted to create a space where they saw other minorities such as herself be represented. Taby wanted a space that carried sizes beyond the traditional S-L. Taby wanted to provide women the exact same positive shopping experience regardless of size. All of this led to the creation of: Taby Originals Our Rad assortment of size inclusive threads have enabled thousands of women from all shades of the rainbow, to refuse to blend in, and to embrace their ridiculous dope soul by wearing the empowering, nostalgic, and comfy, threads offered in sizes XS-5X.
